Karen Gustafson

Karen is a passionate practitioner with over ten years of experience in massage therapy, facia stretch therapy, and manual lymph drainage to promote healing and pain relief. She addresses the following conditions: sports injuries, pre & post surgery recovery, and acute/chronic pain issues. Additionally, she addresses edema, lymphedema, neurodegenerative diseases, like Parkinson’s disease and chronic autoimmune diseases, such as multiple sclerosis. With a focus on wellness and rehabilitation, she provides an integrative approach to support her clients in achieving greater freedom, ease of function, relaxed and decompressed tissues. By creating a healthy fascia and lymphatic system and releasing stored adhesions/blockages, the elimination of metabolic waste is encouraged. This accelerates the flow of fresh oxygen and nutrients, additionally reducing tension and inflammation while improving the body’s flexibility.
Through her work, Karen creates and facilitates a calm, nurturing, and quiet space where clients can reconnect with their inner truth, regulate their nervous systems, and awaken their innate healing intelligence. This encourages the healing process while simultaneously uncovering emotional and energetic root causes of emotional and physical imbalance. She blends skilled hand movements, restorative stretching techniques and innovative tools with an aim to decrease pain, inflammation, stress and tension within the connective tissue to restore proper “flow,"
posture, alignment and range of motion. Both therapeutic and regenerative, her combined modalities work synergistically to support each person toward greater vitality, balance, coherence and long-term wellness.
